John Morneau, Director of the Bowdoin Concert Band, teaches music at Wiscasset High School, and is also conductor of the Casco Bay Concert Band. He is a freelance woodwind performer, and has played with such organizations as Ringling Brothers, Dizzy Gillespie, and the Temptations. The band plays about four concerts a year: two in a formal concert venue, and two in more casual surroundings, either outdoors, or at such occasions as track meets. The band also graces formal College occasions like James and Sarah Bowdoin Day.
